Hey Y'all!

Hi, I’m Kat (she/her)! Originally from North Carolina, I now call Brooklyn, NY home.

After years as an actor, I expanded my work into Intimacy Choreography and Direction because I believe storytelling thrives when artists feel physically and emotionally safe. Crafting nuanced, intentional, and respectful moments of intimacy is at the heart of what I do. Some of my favorite projects include Spring Awakening at Catawba College, The Wild Party with Broadway Bods, and Coming Out: The Musical as part of the Emerging Artists New Works Series.

In addition to my work in theatre, I co-host This Podcast Won’t Run a Week, a biweekly deep dive into musical theatre—equal parts analysis, nostalgia, and hot takes.

Beyond the stage, I’m a passionate advocate for romance novels, libraries, and audiobooks (which absolutely count as real reading, by the way). When I’m not lost in a book, you’ll probably find me deep in a reality TV binge—Vanderpump Rules, Summer House, The Bachelor franchise, The Traitors—I love the drama, strategy, and social dynamics. (Got a hot take? I want to hear it.)

Let’s connect! Whether it’s theatre, books, or why romance novels are a cornerstone of women’s storytelling and empowerment, I’m always up for a great conversation.
